Welcome Matthew,

Thanks for bringing YAPB to my attention, that looks really nice and probably better for my needs. I'm very tempting to do a change now haha when I really should be doing some work :p

You probably should upgrade as I've come across blogs in the past which are a little vulnerable but it usually that's only big blogs so you sohuld be ok. If you need a hand at all with the upgrade drop me a line :)

I've been reading your blog for awhile and recently started one of my own using WP and the plugin YAPB [yet another photo blog]. Ski season has kept me busy recently, but is passing away quickly here in Switzerland and so I will get back to regular posting soon.

I've been meaning to update to 2.5, but last time I updated, I had problems with some permissions on the file, my host hasn't really kept up with the latest WP. Anyway, someday soon I'll upgrade, if only to get rid of the message telling me to update. ;-)

I am subscribed to your blog. Found you on Cnet. I have a blog at jknightsmith.com/blog but I haven't written much. I have seen 2.5 is out and watched the video by photo matt.

I was going to install it this weekend.

Suppose it will take a bit of time to get used to.

I've been following you for some time now and enjoying the photographs.

I run several blogs on WordPress (our own site is powered by WP and lots of custom code as well). I haven't had the time to check out the 2.5 yet, but hope that the admin-site will be clearer for novices to use (I also do some consulting work on the side with WP installations/customizations) and that the code base enables some speedups and caching to custom queries (there should be speed improvements, at least).

Alex, I'm a regular reader of your blog, and particularly like your wide angle long exposure landscapes/waterscapes.

I can't actually see much difference in your blog, although from what I've read, the new Wordpress version focusses primarily on the admin console.

I use a customised version of the perl-based Blosxom blog engine for my blog, as I find it more flexible and extensible to do what I want.
