There seems a con­stant flow of search engine traf­fic flow­ing in want­ing details of the new Canon 5D mk 2 so this might be of inter­est to some.

Nigel Honey has recently shared within Aus­tralia the Canon 5D has been bun­dled with a Canon M80 stor­age device at a cheaper rate which fin­ishes this week. Whether this was a move to sell excess stock in time for a soon to be announce­ment at the com­ing PMA and APPA con­ven­tions who knows? It’s hard to tip whether Canon would make such a large announce­ment in Aus­tralia or if they would pre­fer to do so elsewhere?

I’m going to guess that they don’t but instead save the announce­ment for the biggest pho­tog­ra­phy con­ven­tion which is Pho­tok­ina that is held every two years in Sep­tem­ber. This year the event is held in Ger­many and could the Canon 5D mk 2, Canon 3D, or what­ever be finally announced?
