One minute it was relatively light and the next it was completely dark which left me a little paranoid. As the light disappeared the water surged and increased in power which made things interesting walking back. Fortunately I had a torch which directed me back to my little car to get me home safely.

This makes me look like some creep which lurks in the shadow at night time being deviant but really I’m afraid of the dark haha. This was photographed the back of an alley way in Tasmania, Australia slightly under-exposed purposely then a black & white conversion in lightroom.

Exploring around a old abandoned building awaiting to be demolished. A little scary but fortunately we were able to lock ourselves in so once in there wasn’t going to be anyone else bothering us until we left which settled the nerves slightly.
For this shot I would only turn my torch on once I was in each cubicle. So I would walk into one then turn my torch off and spin around in circles then torch off and walk into the other cubicle and repeat spinning like a fool.

A beautiful red sunset photographed near Lauderdale, Tasmania. This shot was actually a bracketed HDR conversion which makes it look quite different colour and dynamic wise. I much prefer the original version which I’ll post up in the coming days
As featured in Australian Photography - October 2006 magazine

Photographed Easter 2007 with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22 and stitched with PTGui. I really love this place but it’s a little difficult to get your own unique angle..
