Tasmania Seascape

Tasmania Seascape

Just for something different, a waterscape shot captured in Tasmania, Australia. It was a lovely but an early start so time to get some coffee into the system ha

This was captured around 50 minutes before the sunrise predicted time as I find the scene gets much too bright which means exposures go from 4 minutes to 4 seconds when the sunrise nears the predicted time. In turn this changes the scene somewhat as the clouds become more defined in a shorter exposure whilst in a longer a slight blur occurs. The same applies for the water where you may get more action and different effect under a short exposure of the water whilst under a long exposure there is a fog/smoke like effect over the water. Never hurts getting up too early before a sunrise instead of too late so you can experiment with the different light settings which change the way you can expose the scene

What a stunning shot this is.
Love how the long exposure makes the water look like fog.
A great detail is the first light the sun gives, hits the rocks.
    Great!
