Gardens Infrared
Posted by Alex on July 3, 2008
A shot from a recent trip to Melbourne for a few days where we took it easy and took the occasional snap and this is one. The photograph was taken with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22, Hoya R72 infrared filter and tripod for a 1 minute exposure.

hi Alex,
I adore your picture from Melburne ! and wonder if you have any advise for me, i just got a IR filter and tryed it on my Canon 5D+50mm1.2 – but – i have understod this is possible without modifing the camera – but my images shot with tripod and long exposure just looks like deep red with no infra red effect ( I am aware of the post manipulation in photoshop ), but i dont have the raw-color-image with the significant IR look. Expensive filter and all, I would love any advice…. I really think you have made a magic image !
