There's also a few rumours about a Canon 7D circulating at the moment. The 24-70 f/2.8L IS lens sounds sweet - I was intending to buy a 24-70, but I think I'll wait and see if/when the IS version becomes available...

Apparently there's some new messages about a Canon 7D doing the rounds too. The 24-70 f/2.8L IS would be a very nice lens....I think I'll hold off buying a 24-70 non-IS to see if/when the IS version becomes available...

So aside from the sensor size, basically the same? hmm
24–70 2.8L IS would be sweet… damn that could tempt me for an upgrade even.
