Yesterday my 1 month old 1TB hardrive clonked it and I lost 2 months worth of photos and other odds and ends. I tried various things to no success which has really annoyed me. I needed to get out of the house and go take some shots somewhere.
This was photographed at South Arm, Tasmania on sunset

Hey Alex,
Have you tried a recovery service. I’ve had a similar thing happen, only it was 8 months of photos. They can sometimes recover all your data.
