South Arm, Tasmania - Seascape
Posted by Alex on October 11, 2008
A stunning red sunset at South Arm, Tasmania. As a kid we would come down and play around on our bodyboards as it always had a wave and was relatively uncrowded. Anyhow this is probably about 1 of 10 shots which all had varying water patterns around the rocks but this is one I preferred more. I’ll post up another shot later which is 25″ second exposure compared to this one which is more around 0.5″ seconds I think. This was shot with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22, tripod, remote and Cokin ND grads. The filters really work a treat when the sky is like this.

Are these two views (the BW and colour), the same place? They look like it.
I prefer the colour one as the view and colours are more dramatic. the BW one is lacking a bit of impact.
Nice work either way.
