Honeymoon Bay, Tasmania - Freycinet National Park

A photo from earlier this year at Honeymoon Bay in the Freycinet National Park. It was quite a dull sunrise with minimal water movement so plans for shots of water rushing against the rocks were instantly scratched. So unlike my normal shots, less emphasis was placed on the movement of water but instead the surrounding rocks were used as a foreground composition which worked ok in the end.

Nice photo, mate. I like the way the line of the puddle forms an “a” shape and leads my eye from the foreground into the distance. Pity there weren’t a couple of clouds in the sky for ya.
