Continuing on with a recent trend of old or ruined jetties, this was taken on a cold and wet afternoon in Hobart, Tasmania.
This is one of those shots that as a photographer the more you look at it the more you dislike it. I’m still not sure if I like the angle or not. The shot was composed to avoid surrounding residential to the right which meant a tighter crop but I can’t help but wish it was a bit wider. But enough of that. This was shot with a B+W 110 filter which allowed me to obtain a 2 minute exposure even though it was reasonably light. I also used a Cokin nd grad over the sky to avoid the sky over exposing.
p.s. I got drenched after taking this shot.
Thanks for viewing

I like it!
Great textures and colours in the timber, and interesting colours in the water and the sky…with a hint of distant land on the horizon.
