Strahan Dinghy
Last week I drove to Strahan to show a friend around the Tasmanian west coast but unfortunately it rained most of the time. This was a quick shot while the rain briefly stopped.
Taroona Sunrise
Re-processing an old photo for a friend. A beautiful red sunrise captured at Taroona, Tasmania last winter. This is a 2 minute exposure just as the sun was coming up over the hills which lead to a little over exposure.
Clifton Beach, Tasmania
Long exposure from this afternoon shooting with Ronnie Ling at Clifton Beach, Tasmania on sunset.
Abstract Sunrise
One of the more spectacular sunrises I’ve seen captured a little different then normal.

Behind the lens
Not one for photographs of myself, who is. Sometimes it’s nice to put a face to a name and this is mine. Photographed on a recent trip to the Tasmanian west coast, a pig in mud.
Marrawah, Tasmania
A quick shot before the weather caved in at Marrawah, Tasmania. I would have liked to spend a week pottering around here, the rock formations were beautiful. Shot with wet feet, Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 17-40, B+W 110 and Cokin neutral density grad filters.
Midway Point, Tasmania
Nice to finish a long day relaxing with the camera. Rest in peace Tarsh, your knowledge and passion for art has motivated and taught me a lot, I will miss our friendship dearly.
The Nut - Stanley, Tasmania
I hate cliché images that everyone takes but I couldn’t resist when I saw this rainbow.. Photograph of The Nut at Stanley, Tasmania.
