Hi Alex. I have just discovered your website when I was researching ND and graduated filters. Your pictures are amazing. I am a very amateur (beginner!!) photographer so this may seem like a really stupid question, but I just wanted to check. Is it just the black and white setting in your camera that creates the colour scheme in this picture, or another type of filter?

      Hi Peter,

      Thanks for the kind words!

No question is ever too stupid. I shot that photograph under normal colour settings then converted it in Lightroom to black and white. You could use in camera settings to make it black and white but I would suggest shooting it in colour and making the conversion in Lightroom later as that way you have the best of both worlds (colour and black and white).

Anyway hope that helps a little and good luck with your photography :)
