Posted by Alex Wise on November 11, 2010
Rain clouds flying over my head during a 3 minute long exposure photograph on the Tasmanian north west.
Shot with a Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 17-40 and B+W 110 neutral density filter.

I love the tones in this one, and the long exposure provides interesting results for the water and clouds.
(I recently bought myself a B&W ND400 filter, and need to find some time to get out and experiment with it…)

Thanks Martin. Good to hear from you! It has been a little while. Am looking forward to seeing how you get on with the B+W filter. It’s a lot of fun

That’s almost surreal. I love the landscape. I’ve tried long exposure for waterfalls and such but never thought of including clouds or the sea. Must give that a shot one day.
