The Gardens, Tasmania - Bay of Fires
Posted by Alex on December 8, 2010
From a recent overnight trip to The Bay of Fires with a friend. My favourite Tasmanian landscape is found at the Gardens. So beautiful.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t much so this had to do. As usual, shot with a B+W 110 neutral density filter to give a 90 second exposure at f.11.
Jealous of our camp site?

It’s a little bit sandy that site haha but looks like fun. How far is it from your place?
I like the shot, long exposures are good and those rocks are just truly crazy!
Did you get out and do anymore shooting whilst there? My B+W 110 arrived today

Thanks Jack! Around 3 and a half hours from Hobart. A long drive so not much fun to be greeted with crappy overcast weather.

Incredible the photos. The rocks are very interesting. Also like the way you used a slower shutter speed for a long exposure. Makes the water look cool.
