Copping spray all over my gear but it was worth it even if only one shot of the 15 came out…
Taken winter 2009 at Liffey Falls after a week of rain.
A 3 minute exposure captured on sunset at Stanley, Tasmania. I took a photo soon after this without the sun lighting up the rocks but decided on this one in the end.. I hope you like!
The same location as one of my favourite pictures (link). Instead this time shot with a 10 minute exposure. As usual, B+W and Cokin neutral density filters were used to get the longer exposure.
I struggled whether to post this in black and white or colour. I’m not really fond of posting things in B&W as I find it terribly over-done in the digital age so I try to hold back.
This is a 59 sec exposure at f.13

The morning sunrise briefly lights Mt. Wellington with a beautiful orange tone. There one minute, gone the next.
A second image of a two part series from the east coast (Friendly Beaches, Tasmania). I wanted the same rock in both shots but one looking to the left of the beach whilst the other to the right to capture the beauty of this amazing place.

Was a nice trip and I wish I was still pottering around taking shots but uni is back in the swing of things which makes less time for travelling long distances. Time to get some things planned for when semester 2 is over
