Was flicking through old photos from 2008 and came across a neglected set from Binalong Bay, Tasmania. I don’t normally do this but a before and after in case anyone is interested.
This two shot image from Binalong Bay, Tasmania has sat in my drafts since 2008. I’d just finished exams so decided to take a drive up the east cost for some camping + photos but it unfortunately rained (note: down poured) the whole time which created dull skies.
Photographed at F.18 / 4 second exposures with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22, Cokin Z-Pro neutral density filters and a tripod. The two images were later stitched in PTGui and is not HDR.
A beautiful red sunset just near home in 2006. Captured with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22 and Cokin Z-Pro neutral density filters.

I’ve been having problems with my wordpress image uploader for a while hence the lack of updates! It’s all fixed now, google gears was playing up and required disabling.
This was shot a few months ago at Marble Bay(?) on Bruny Island with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22 and B+W 110 (10 stop) filter on a one minute exposure. Bruny is amazing for photographs, I really want to spend some serious time there on my own just exploring around.
Shot some time ago with the Canon 350D, Canon 10-22 and Cokin ND Grads captured at Park Beach, Tasmania.
Snug Falls flora captured with a Canon 350D and Canon 24-70.
This series of photographs is from the abandoned Royal Derwent Hospital in Tasmania, Australia. Excuse the ugly watermarks but after recently seeing someone running around with one of my images on a photography website it’s made me a little hesitant.
I’ve compiled the images with an outside photograph of the different housing complexes and then relevant shots from inside that building. This is really quite an amazing place in terms sheer size, it had a pool, cinema, church and many housing complexes.
I hope you enjoy.

Clifton Beach, Tasmania not so long ago.
I’ve recently been playing around with the Adobe Camera profiles beta (http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/DNG_Profiles) and quite liked what the slight adjustment did to this test image. As per usual shot with a Canon 350D, Canon 10-22, Cokin ND grads Z-Pro and tripod.
