
Beautiful golden light hitting Mt Wellington on sunset.
I haven’t taken photos for almost 2 months and it has been killing me. Even though I’ve taken a ton of photos at Clifton I still wanted a shot looking towards Cape Deslacs with a nice golden hour light over the cliffs. Luckily the light came out for around a minute then quickly disappeared.

These are just a few things that I take into account before going on a shoot. They aren’t rocket science I’ll admit and are actually quite simple but I hope they help a little.

Sorry about the watermark but I don’t normally like to post largish resolutions (yep a tad over the top and paranoid).
While I was messing around on the hill taking photos, a cyclist was doing a circuit down this hill, around the town then back up again. It looked a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The morning sunrise briefly lights Mt. Wellington with a beautiful orange tone. There one minute, gone the next.
