A photo from earlier this year at Honeymoon Bay in the Freycinet National Park. It was quite a dull sunrise with minimal water movement so plans for shots of water rushing against the rocks were instantly scratched. So unlike my normal shots, less emphasis was placed on the movement of water but instead the surrounding rocks were used as a foreground composition which worked ok in the end.

This was a hectic morning as all 4 of us slept through our alarms and intended to visit another bay but were limited for time as the sun was already rising. It was freezing which seemed to fog my filters (Cokins) up periodically so as you can imagine that was a little frustrating. That’s probably one part of my Cokin filters I don’t like so much as they are quite large (Z-Pro series) and if you have two filters attatched, both can be quite exposed so it means both have to come off to be cleaned.
