The Bay of Fires is my favourite place in Tas­ma­nia, beau­ti­ful beaches that you can nor­mally get to your­self. These pho­tographs were taken a few days ago on an overnight camp­ing trip which was plagued with pretty aver­age weather. As such mak­ing sun­rise and sun­set pho­tographs not really worth it which was pretty much the pur­pose of the trip haha. Any­way here are a few pics from the Bay of Fires area includ­ing the Gar­dens and another beach which I can’t remem­ber the name of.

I wanted to mess around with a panoramic but they’re some­thing I’m yet to mas­ter so excuse the hori­zon and waves which don’t really align heh.

The Bay of Fires has been high­lighted for its beau­ti­ful beaches by the Lonely Planet in its travel des­ti­na­tion guide for 2009. I thought it would be rel­e­vant to post this pic­ture taken a few years ago at The Gar­dens. A stun­ning place which I really want to pho­to­graph more
