Playing around with the Canon 5D Mark II and B+W 110 (10 stop) neutral density filter on sunset, fun.  I recently picked up a Phottix long exposure remote after a nice review by Martin Pot, in short it’s a cheaper alternative and you save around $150. I’ve got no regrets and couldn’t recomend it more especially when you can purchase other cords to plug into other camera brands.

My home :)

The morning sunrise briefly lights Mt. Wellington with a beautiful orange tone. There one minute, gone the next.

Lindisfarne with Mt. Wellington in the background on sunset. I was really struggling for composition but in the end settled with this shot of tiny a tiny cloud reflection. Hope you like

A quick shot as I made my way home yesterday afternoon just as it was getting dark. It’s been quite cold lately as you can see with the snow on Mt Wellington, bring on summer.

Shot with a Canon 350D, Canon 10–22, Cokin ND Grad Z-Pro .6, Tripod.

Wow this is from 2005, I found it when I was digging up another photo and ended up pulling a few out which I will upload over the next few days. This was taken at Mt Wellington, Tasmania in the middle of winter.
