This two shot image from Binalong Bay, Tasmania has sat in my drafts since 2008. I’d just finished exams so decided to take a drive up the east cost for some camping + photos but it unfortunately rained (note: down poured) the whole time which created dull skies.
Photographed at F.18 / 4 second exposures with a Canon 350D, Canon 10–22, Cokin Z-Pro neutral density filters and a tripod. The two images were later stitched in PTGui and is not HDR.
Another from Clifton sorry! This was shot with the Canon 5D Mark II, Canon 24–70 and B+W 110. I never really use the 24–70 so was quite keen to give it a whirl and actually use it more. The lens is obviously a lot less wider then the 17–40 so for this image I decided on a two image stitch to get more in the shot.

Sorry about the watermark but I don’t normally like to post largish resolutions (yep a tad over the top and paranoid).
While I was messing around on the hill taking photos, a cyclist was doing a circuit down this hill, around the town then back up again. It looked a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
The Bay of Fires is my favourite place in Tasmania, beautiful beaches that you can normally get to yourself. These photographs were taken a few days ago on an overnight camping trip which was plagued with pretty average weather. As such making sunrise and sunset photographs not really worth it which was pretty much the purpose of the trip haha. Anyway here are a few pics from the Bay of Fires area including the Gardens and another beach which I can’t remember the name of.
I wanted to mess around with a panoramic but they’re something I’m yet to master so excuse the horizon and waves which don’t really align heh.

Just a few pictures from an early morning trip to take some photographs of clear felling in the south of Tasmania around the Huon and Geeveston areas. The morning was rather miserable with constant rain which really limited photo opportunities, bit of a shame. This is one theme that I’m rather eager to photograph more.
The jury is still out with the panoramic? I’m a sucker for dark images but maybe a little too much especially around the background? What are your thoughts?

Apologies about the size as it really doesn’t do Dove Lake justice! Looks fantastic printed on my wall though
A little on the cliché side and was captured at Cradle Mountain, Tasmania. The small version bugs me as the horizon looks terribly crooked so I’ll try hunt around for the bigger resolution and try get that up.
Photographed Easter 2007 with a Canon 350D, Canon 10–22 and stitched with PTGui. I really love this place but it’s a little difficult to get your own unique angle..
